Start by adjusting your seat and steering column to find the most comfortable position. Once you’ve chosen a comfortable position, proceed to adjust the mirrors.<\/p>\n

To check the result, touch your head to the left window. In this position, the rear fender of the car should occupy about one-third of the reflection in the mirror.<\/p>\n

To check the adjustment, lean to the right so that your head is roughly in the center of the car\u2019s cabin. If the right mirror is properly aligned, the entire rear fender should be visible. In your normal driving position, the mirror should show the adjacent lane, curb, or roadside.<\/p>\n
There is only one rule for adjusting the rearview mirror: the entire rear window of the car should be fully visible in the mirror. This will allow you to see everything happening behind you.<\/p>\n

Sit up straight with your back against the seat. Check if the rear window is fully visible, and if necessary, adjust the mirror accordingly.<\/p>\n\n
